In three movements: March, Intermezzo, and Finale. Written while he was still a student at the Royal Conservatory of Music. He never liked the title -- Since much band work at the time was arrangements, he used the word "Original" to distinguish it from arranged suites for band. Once it became published he was uanble to change the name. - Capriccio Ritmico (Rhythmic Caprice)

In three movements: Fanfare and Processional, Grass Roots, and Harvest Jubilee. - Solo Pomposo Tuba Solo
By Al Hayes
Performed by Keith Erickson
Composed in 1911. The work was composed in Trio format: Introduction, Cadenza, Polka and Trio. The solo part contains many very lyrical diatonic melodies. Although the work lists the name, Al Hayes as its composer, the name Al Hayes was simply a pen-name for the great march composer, Henry Fillmore. Fillmore composed under a total of eight names in an effort to keep his own name from flooding the market - The Waltzing Cat
